About Skaafin
Leave a paper trail worth following.
Skaafin is the companion app for roleplay in Tamriel: trade, law, letters and lore. It keeps the paperwork your characters would keep on Elder Scrolls game servers: each server's item list, its Holds and their stores, prices and price history, and letters and announcements between them, with more to come for guards, guilds and crafters. Goods and coin change hands in the game, and chat stays in Discord. Skaafin records what your character would write down. The name is the Dovahzul word for a vault or storehouse.

What’s new
v0.71.1 · 1 October 2026
- Find who a warrant names by searching. Type a name, another name or how they look, instead of scrolling one long list of everyone in your registers.
- Book and guide search answer as you type, like every other search in the app.
- Picking boards to proclaim on looks like picking who carries a warrant: big rows to tick.
- No more “Search 0 cases”. An empty list doesn’t show a search box until there is something to search.
v0.71.0 · 1 October 2026
- Open a case from where it starts. An incident report now has “Open a case” beside each offender and suspect, and an arrest warrant has it once the arrest is carried out, so the case starts with the report or warrant already linked.
- Fines worked out for you. When a fine is “four times the value taken”, type the value and the times and the app fills in the amount and how it was reckoned. You can still change it.
- Tidier guard pages. Duty, the alarm bell, the cells, warrants and cases each have their own icon in the menu, and page trails no longer say the same word twice, such as “Cases › Cases”.
- A warrant’s page shows where it lives. Its trail now goes back to Warrants, and forms for new warrants and writs are a comfortable width on a big screen.
v0.70.0 · 30 September 2026
- The alarm bell. A guard on duty rings it, saying where and what is happening, and everyone in the guard is told at once. It rings for an hour, or until someone stands it down.
- On Discord too. A guard’s Discord channel can carry the alarm bell (pinging its role) and short lines for new reports, warrants served and cases decided, with nothing private in them.
- Proclaim on several boards. A court can pin a proclamation, or a law, an exile or a judgement, on several public boards in its Hold at once, one copy on each. A new Proclaim page writes a proclamation of its own.
Earlier changes
v0.69.0 · 30 September 2026
- A Guard’s handbook to start with. Guards find a handbook in their Books with pages on arrests, evidence, posts and the laws they enforce, ready to edit.
- Start a page from a template: a procedure, a profile or a record.
- The law book beside your books. A book’s page lists your laws, one tap away.
- Bind a book into a paper. Make a paper copy of a whole book, or of one page and its sub-pages, to hand over or pin on a board. The book stays as it is.
- Warrants can open books. A court’s search warrant on an organisation can include its books, members-only ones too.
v0.68.0 · 30 September 2026
- Books for every organisation. Keep handbooks, guides and what your people should know, as books of pages and sub-pages, written in the same editor as everything else. Find them under Books.
- For members, or public. Members read every book; a public book can be read by anyone on the organisation’s page.
- Link pages together. Write a page’s title in double square brackets, like [[Arrests]], to link to it; a law’s name links to the law. Each page shows what links to it.
- Nothing is lost. Every save keeps the version before, and pages and books are archived, never deleted.
- Search your books, and see the pages changed last on Home.
v0.67.0 · 30 September 2026
- Summonses. A court can summon the accused to appear at a trial. Guards deliver it in person; the court then records whether they came, and can charge them for staying away.
- Appeals. A higher court can hear a case again: the Hold for its guards’ cases, the ruler for a Hold’s trials. It finds the case by the number on the judgement (a copy will do), then upholds it, overturns it, or changes the sentence. The accused can be handed the decision.
- People in a case. Name the defence, witnesses, experts, the injured and claimants on a case.
- Evidence after the case. Once a case is decided, the guard holding the evidence returns it with a receipt (goods go back into the shop’s stock; coin only when confirmed) or keeps it as forfeit.
- Repeal a whole part of the law book at once, such as when a treaty ends.
v0.66.0 · 30 September 2026
- Guards can ask the Hold what it knows. On someone’s entry in the guard’s register, “Ask the Hold for its records” sends the question with the reason.
- The Hold decides. Its records stay private unless it agrees. It sees the question on its register and on Home, picks its own entry for that person and shares it, or declines with a reason. What it shares lands in the guard’s entry.
v0.65.0 · 30 September 2026
- Warrants in one place. Courts and their guards now have a Warrants page in the sidebar. Everything about warrants happens there.
- Guards can propose warrants. A guard picks what it wants and sends it to the court. The court approves it with one tap, and the warrant is issued, or declines it with a reason. The guard is told either way.
- Fewer choices when issuing. Pick what the warrant is for and who it names right on the form. Everything it could open is ticked to begin with, and a whole guard can carry it at once.
- Warrants without making laws. Server staff can now let a faction issue warrants wherever the ruler above it reaches, like a ruler’s secret service.
v0.64.1 · 30 September 2026
- The Hold knows its people. A Hold’s register of known persons now has an entry for every citizen and for everyone working in the businesses and factions in the Hold, linked to the right person. The entry says how the Hold knows them.
- From the roll to the register. Opening a citizen on the roll opens their register entry, where the Hold can exile them.
- A list of every character, for server staff. Server staff can see every character on the server, with the player’s account, their Hold and the organisations they belong to. It is out of character and players never see it.
v0.64.0 · 30 September 2026
- Punishments by severity. A law can now give one punishment in words, or a Low, Medium and High punishment, each with its condition. The law book shows them under each law.
- Provisions, parts and sections. Parts of a code that aren’t crimes (self-defence, how trials work) can be marked as provisions: they stay in the book but nobody is charged with them. Laws can sit in a part and a section, and the book groups them that way.
- Paste a whole law code. “Paste a code” on the law book reads a code you already have, shows what it found, and enacts the laws you tick all at once.
- Cases. Guards can open a case from someone’s register entry and decide it on the spot; a Hold’s court holds trials, with hearings. Each charge picks the law and how severe it was, and shows the punishment the law gives and how often the person was found guilty before. A guard can send a case for trial.
- Sentences. Fines (paid in parts, the rest turned into forced labour if need be), restitution to a victim, time in the cells, forced labour, exile, or anything in words. The court records fines as they are paid and can pardon a sentence.
- Judgements. Deciding a case writes the judgement as a paper; the accused can be handed a copy, and a court can proclaim a trial’s judgement on its board.
- The cells. Guards record who they hold and where. The server sets how long someone may be held without a charge; the guard is warned as the time runs out. Opening a case stops the clock.
- Bounties. A Hold’s court can post a reward for bringing someone in, with wanted posters on the boards in its Hold, and mark it claimed when they are brought in.
v0.63.0 · 30 September 2026
- Warrants. A Hold’s court can now issue warrants: to search a business or faction, to search a person, to arrest someone, or to seize goods. Open the business’s page or the person’s register entry and choose “Issue a warrant”. Someone with no name yet? “Arrest someone unknown” takes a description.
- Served in person. A warrant opens nothing until a guard carrying it marks it served, after showing it in game. Until then only the court and the guards named on it know about it.
- Searching. Once served, the guards read what the court chose: the books, members and ranks, titles, the papers in the files (a guard’s own reports and statements too), letters, requests, citizens and exiles, taxes. Searching a person reads the papers they hold, their letters and their book of people.
- The searched are told. The business, or the person, is told when a warrant is served, and sees who read what and when.
- Seizing goods and coin. A guard records what was taken, item by item: it leaves the business’s stock and can go straight into the guard’s evidence. Coin is taken only by typing the amount and ticking to confirm.
- Carried out or withdrawn. The guard marks a warrant carried out when done; the court can withdraw it before. Server staff choose how many days warrants last.
- Guards serve by permission. Every guard rank may serve warrants to begin with; the guard can change that for each rank.
v0.62.0 · 30 September 2026
- An incident report form. New reports look like an official form: the guard’s letterhead, a bold “Incident report” band with its number, then the facts laid out above the account.
- Kinds of incident. Guard officers keep their own list (Theft, Assault, Poaching…), each with the laws it usually breaks. Pick one or more on a report and it offers those laws to cite with one tap.
- When it happened and when it was reported, both on the form.
- Who was involved, by part. Offenders, suspects, witnesses and victims each have their own section on the report. Add someone new to the register right from the report, without leaving the page.
- Papers as evidence. Attach a paper from the guard’s files, or one of your own: hand it in or copy it in. If it later leaves the files, the report says so.
- Witness statements. Take a statement from the report: the witness’s words become their own paper in the guard’s files, ready to be signed in person.
- Copies by letter. Sending a report by letter offers copies of its papers too.
- Fuller entries in the register. Every register now has room for a longer “Appearance”, and papers can be attached to a person too.
- No more level numbers on ranks. Ranks are in order: drag them, and put a new rank “Below” the one you choose. A title says who gives it (“Ranks above Guard”, or any rank); any rank can hold any title. The ranks for new organisations work the same way.
v0.61.0 · 30 September 2026
- Drag to reorder, everywhere. Anything you keep in your own order now moves by dragging its handle, on a phone or a computer, and saves at once. No more up and down arrows or typing numbers. Using a keyboard? Focus the handle and use the arrow keys.
- More lists in your own order. Containers, boards, filing categories, ranks and titles below yours, guard posts, price-list sections, guide pages, the site’s item categories and the condition scale.
- Your price list’s categories, your order. A shop that lists by category can drag the categories into its own order, or go back to the server’s.
- Sections that fold. Readers can fold and open each section of a price list. Choose which sections start folded.
v0.60.0 · 30 September 2026
- Guards go on duty. A guard keeps its posts (the gate, the keep). Guards go on duty at a post with one tap and off again. If someone forgets, their duty ends by itself after a few hours, which the officers choose.
- Who is on duty. The guard’s Home shows who is on duty now and where. Officers can put guards on or off duty and see every shift.
- A register for guards. Guards keep a register of known persons, like shops do: suspects, witnesses, victims and contacts, by the names they gave. An entry can be marked “Entitled to a trial”.
- Incident reports. Write what happened: when, where, who was involved and in what part, the guards there, the shops involved, items found, and the laws broken. A report can follow up another one.
- Evidence. A guard that keeps an armoury can put items straight into an evidence chest from the report.
- Reports stay with the guard. Send a copy by letter when the court needs it. The copy says what the report says. Tag reports “follow up” and they show on Home until you’re done.
- For guard leaders. New guard ranks can go on duty at once. For ranks you already have, tick “Go on and off duty” and, for officers, “Set posts, put guards on and off duty” under Ranks.
v0.59.0 · 30 September 2026
- Goods on a manifest are set aside. The stock list, each item’s page and the counter search show how many are set aside for the Hold and how many are free.
- A warning before you sell them. Selling, removing, moving or changing the condition of goods that are on a manifest shows a warning with the manifest’s number. It never stops you; the manifest page then shows what the books no longer hold, so you can fix it.
- Your own word. “Set aside” can be renamed under Words, for example to “On a manifest”.
- Price lists in sections. A price list is now sorted by category, with headings. Or choose your own sections in your own order, or one list from A to Z.
- Selling or buying first. Each section can lead with what you sell for or what you pay, clearly labelled. A shop can sell bows and buy pelts on the same list.
- Lines of your own. Add lines that are only on the price list, like “All Ancient Nord weapons: 120 g”. The counter never sells them.
- Everywhere the same. Your page, the open-web list, the price-list document and the Discord
/pricelistall follow your arrangement. Set it on Our page › Price list.
v0.58.0 · 30 September 2026
- Taxes. A Hold can set a weekly tax on the businesses under it, with a different amount for stores, stalls or traders if it likes. Taxes sit in the law book, where anyone can read them.
- What is owed adds up by itself. Each week’s tax is added to what a business owes. Unpaid weeks show as arrears on the Hold’s Taxes page and on its Home.
- Paying in person. The Steward records what a business paid, and it can go straight into the Hold’s treasury. The business gets a receipt in its files. A payment recorded by mistake can be voided, and part of a debt can be waived.
- For the business. A business sees what it owes on its Home and its Taxes page. After paying, it records the coin that left its coffer with one tap.
v0.57.0 · 30 September 2026
- Law books. A Hold now keeps a book of its laws. The Jarl and the Steward enact them, with a code, a category, the text and a typical penalty (a fine, time in the cells or something else). The judge still decides each case.
- Nothing is erased. Amending a law keeps the old words, and a repealed law stays in the book, marked repealed.
- Anyone can read them. The Laws tab on a Hold’s page lists its laws and those of the faction that rules it. A law can be marked private: then only the court, and guards who keep watch there, can read it.
- Proclaim it. Enacting, amending or repealing a law can pin a notice on the Hold’s public board.
- Exiles cite the law. When exiling someone, the court picks the law from the book, and the exile keeps its words as they were. A Hold can choose that a law from the book must always be cited.
- Guild rules. Server staff can let a faction make laws too. A ruling faction’s laws apply in every Hold it rules; a guild’s rules are for its own members.
- On Discord,
/lawslists the laws of a Hold.
v0.56.0 · 30 September 2026
- A proper writing box. Letters, replies, papers, notices, announcements, bios, notes, your page’s description and guide pages now use one writing box that shows what you’ll get as you write: bold, italic, headings, lists, quotes, links and tables, from a small toolbar. It works the same on phones.
- Shortcuts. Typing
##starts a heading,*a list and>a quote, and**bold**turns bold as you type. Pasting formatted text keeps its shape. - Line breaks count. A new line in a letter or announcement now shows as a new line, as it always did in plain text.
v0.55.0 · 30 September 2026
- Reading the books with a writ. If a writ names you, it now shows on your Home and under “Writs you carry” on your profile. Open it to read the books it covers (trades, stock, coffer and credit, customers, manifests). Each book looks like a page from a ledger, and nothing on it can be changed.
- They know you looked. Each time you read a book, the org being inspected sees who read which book and when. When the writ runs out or is revoked, the books close again.
v0.54.0 · 30 September 2026
- Rulers verify traders. A trader with no Hold is now verified by the faction that rules the land, such as the Empire. If more than one faction rules, the trader chooses which one to ask. Where no faction rules, server staff still do it, and traders they verified stay verified.
- Writs. A ruling faction, or a Hold’s court, can issue a writ on a business or faction in its lands. The writ lets the people it names read some of that org’s books (trades, stock, coffer and credit, customers, manifests) for a few days. Issue one from the org’s page with “Issue a writ”.
- The inspected org sees it. Its members see every writ on it, who may use it, and each time it was used, with a note on Home while one is in force. The issuer can revoke a writ early. A writ stops working if the issuer no longer rules there, but the paper stays.
- Server staff choose how long writs last: 7 days unless the issuer picks otherwise, 30 at most.
- Reading the books with a writ arrives in the next update.
v0.53.0 · 30 September 2026
- Who rules a Hold. Server staff can now record which faction a Hold answers to, such as the Empire or a High King’s court. A Hold answers to one ruler at a time, or to no one while it is contested. Staff set it on the Hold (“Answers to”) or on the faction, and handing a Hold to a new ruler takes it from the old one.
- Everyone can see it. A Hold’s page and noticeboard say “Held by …”, and the ruling faction’s page lists the Holds it rules. Each change shows in the audit log of the Hold and of both factions.
- Guards of the realm. A faction under a ruler, like the Legion under the Empire, can have its guards act in every Hold its ruler holds. When a Hold changes hands, their reach follows.
v0.52.0 · 30 September 2026
- Titles. Besides their rank, a member can now hold titles such as Quartermaster, Treasurer or Herald. Each title adds its own permissions on top of the rank. A title can be kept to one holder (or a few), and it can be public or private.
- Where to find them. Create titles on the Ranks page, and give or take them on the Members page. New factions start with a Quartermaster title that looks after the Armoury.
- Known in town. Public titles show on the organisation’s page and on the holder’s calling cards, as “Quartermaster of the Guard”. Each card can hide them, for a card in another name.
- Announcements can go to everyone holding a title, as well as to ranks.
v0.51.0 · 29 September 2026
- Open for trade. Staff can mark their business open from its Home. Its page and its Hold’s directory show “Open now”, with open businesses listed first, and its Discord channels hear about it. It closes by itself after a few hours (6 unless you change it under Settings › Trade).
- On Discord.
/openlists what a Hold has open right now./openingopens or closes your business from Discord. - Ask to join a Hold. A business can ask a Hold, from the Hold’s page, to take it in as a store, stall or trader. The court takes it in or declines from its Businesses page. Taken in as a store or stall, it is verified at once.
- Owning other businesses. A business or faction can ask to own another from its page, like a merchant house owning shops or a guild owning its chapters. If the other one accepts, its page says “Owned by …”, and the owner can look into it. The owner can offer it on to someone else (with a price, if it was sold) or let it go. See it all on the new Ownership page.
v0.50.1 · 29 September 2026
- Discord channels, fixed. The list of what to post to a channel reads properly again, one choice per line. A channel linked with the bot can now be changed right here: what it posts, the daily or weekly digest, and whether it pings its role. Adding a webhook sits above the list.
v0.50.0 · 29 September 2026
- Choose your Hold. Every character can become a citizen of a Hold, from their own page, with no one to ask. You can move to another Hold or give it up. Your start page reminds you until you have one.
- Citizen of … Your citizenship shows on your page and on your calling cards. Carrying a card under another name? Untick “Show my citizenship” on it.
- The citizen roll. A Hold’s court sees who its citizens are, on a new Citizens page and on its Home. Nobody else sees the roll.
- Exile. A Hold can exile a citizen, or bar a trader, saying why and which law it follows, and until when if it isn’t for good. The exiled can’t choose that Hold again until the court lifts it or it runs out. The court can keep it private or proclaim it with a notice on its public board.
- Write to your citizens. A Hold can send an announcement to its citizens.
- Manifests you can fix. Withdrawing a manifest now brings it back to you to change and send again, and the Hold no longer sees it meanwhile. The Hold can also send a manifest back for changes, saying what should change.
v0.49.0 · 29 September 2026
- What being verified brings. Only verified businesses appear in a Hold’s and a town’s directory, now with a ✓ Verified mark, and each business’s page says who verified it. Verified businesses can show their public price list, send manifests to their Hold, use Discord channels their Hold offers, and press their own seal on papers.
- Until you are verified. Your business still trades as normal. Your price list settings are kept but nobody sees the list yet, you can build manifests and send them once verified, and your page still opens for anyone with its link. Each place says so, with a link to ask to be verified.
- Announce to verified businesses. A Hold (or anyone with businesses below them) can send an announcement to verified businesses only.
- Bigger quantity boxes. Quantity boxes on manifests, and everywhere with − and + buttons, now fit numbers of three digits and more.
v0.48.0 · 29 September 2026
- Stores, stalls and traders. Every business now says where it trades: a store has a building, a stall trades from a market stall in town, and a trader has neither. A Hold picks store or stall when it makes one.
- Open your own business. Any character can open a trader from the start page (Switch), without asking. It starts on its own, with the server’s item list and your own items.
- Join a Hold, or leave it. A trader can join any Hold from its new Standing page, and leave again. The Hold can also put a trader out.
- Verified. A Hold verifies the businesses it recognises: stores and stalls from the start, traders when they ask and the Hold agrees. The Hold sees requests on its Home and answers them from its new Businesses page. It can take verification back, and leaving a Hold ends it. Each business’s Standing page keeps its history.
- Fixes. A long item name no longer makes a store’s Home too wide on phones (which hid the bottom bar). Adding your own item takes prices with pennies, like 2.55, and every price field shows a keypad with a decimal point on phones.
v0.47.0 · 29 September 2026
- Pick, then how many. When you pick an item from a search (selling, buying, adding stock, materials, a manifest, a stock count), its quantity opens right there with − and + buttons. Only Add puts it on the list, and you can still change the quantity on the list after.
- Manifests. No more long stock table above your manifest: search your stock, pick a lot (it starts at all that is free), Add. Your manifest is right below.
- A steadier screen on phones. Search results open over the page instead of pushing it down, and − and + no longer close the keyboard, so nothing jumps under your finger. While the keyboard is up, the bottom bar steps aside; close the keyboard to Finish.
- Fewer slips. Removing a line can be undone in one tap, and Clear asks first. On a manifest, Remove asks before it takes a line off.
v0.46.0 · 29 September 2026
- Buttons above lists. On every page with a list, the buttons that act on it (add, import, export, search, filters) are now above the list, so you never scroll past a long list to reach them. In the catalogue, Export CSV and Import a spreadsheet are at the top.
- Change condition from where it is. On an item’s stock page, each place that holds it has its own “Change condition” link, with that place already chosen.
- Opening stock in setup. “Start fresh” has a new step: put in your opening stock, many items at once, with the reason already filled in.
v0.45.0 · 29 September 2026
- Building a manifest. Your stock that the Hold buys is now a table on the manifest: item, where it is, how many are free and what the Hold pays. Type a quantity and press Add (leave it empty to add all that is free). The item moves down onto the manifest and leaves the table. Search it, or show one place only.
- Remove. Each line on a manifest has a Remove button. The stock goes back to the table.
- Change condition from a manifest. Items with a condition have a “Change condition” link that opens with the item already chosen and brings you back after.
- Export. Download a manifest, or all of them, as a CSV file, or copy it and paste it straight into Google Sheets or Excel.
- “Quantity”. Fields that said “How many” now say “Quantity”.
v0.44.0 · 29 September 2026
- Add stock, many at once. A new “Add stock” button on the stock page. Search an item, type how many right there, press Enter, and it goes on the list. The search is ready for the next one. Pick one reason for them all and save once. Handy for opening stock or a big delivery. Your list is kept in this browser until you save.
- Manifests the same way. Adding goods to a manifest works like this too: search your stock, type the amount, Enter.
- Counting stock. In a stock count, type an item’s name and press Enter to jump straight to its box.
- Adding to the catalogue. After you add an item from the list, you are back in the search for the next one. “Add your own item” is now at the top.
v0.43.0 · 29 September 2026
- Sort and filter everywhere. Known persons, members, trades, your coffer or treasury, manifests, documents, the audit log, letters and sent announcements now have the same search, sort and filters as the item lists. Sort by name, newest or oldest, amount and more; filter by kind, rank, who and what. Your choice stays in the page address.
v0.42.0 · 29 September 2026
- Add at the top. On long lists, like the item list, known persons, containers and members, the form to add something is now at the top of the page. No more scrolling to the bottom every time.
- Sort and filter. The item list, catalogue and stock can now be sorted (by name, category, newest, price, how many you have and more) and filtered by category, goods or services, container, condition and tag. Your choice stays when you come back or reload the page.
v0.41.0 · 29 September 2026
- Handing over a manifest. Once the Hold approves, the shop marks the goods delivered, which takes them out of its stock, and the coin received, typing what it was actually paid. The manifest is then complete.
- The Hold’s side. The Hold can mark the goods received, straight into one of its containers if it likes, and the coin paid out of its treasury. Both are optional.
- On your Home. The Hold sees manifests waiting for review, and the shop sees approved ones still to hand over. Both see their latest manifests.
- Adding to a manifest. “Add from your stock” is now at the top of the manifest, so you don’t have to scroll past a long list.
v0.40.0 · 29 September 2026
- Selling to your Hold. A Hold can now buy goods from its shops in bulk. Its court switches this on under Settings, Trade, and sets what it pays for each item and the fewest it takes.
- Manifests. A shop picks goods from its own stock and how many, and sends the list to its Hold. The price is fixed when you send it. Drafts are saved as you go, and you can take a manifest back until the Hold answers.
- Set aside, not gone. Goods on a manifest stay in your stock, marked “set aside for the Hold”, until they are handed over in game.
- The Hold answers. The Hold approves a manifest, takes fewer of some items, or turns it down with a reason. The shop is told either way.
v0.39.0 · 29 September 2026
- Towns. A Hold can now add its cities, towns, villages and baronies. Give each one a type in its settings (“City”, “Village”, or any word your server uses), and pick one as the Hold’s capital.
- A town’s own court. A town can have a Reeve and officials, with ranks you can rename, or be just a place with nobody running it. The Hold’s court looks after it either way.
- Town noticeboards. Every town has its own page with news, events, laws and a directory of the businesses in town. The Hold’s directory lists its towns.
- Shops in town. Stores and factions can sit in a town. A shop in a town still uses its Hold’s item list and prices.
- Moving. The Hold’s court can move a shop from one town to another, or a whole town to another Hold, and its shops come along. Nothing in their records changes.
v0.38.1 · 29 September 2026
- Packs only, both ways. An item marked “traded in packs only” is now bought in packs as well as sold in packs. Packs stay optional: without that mark, you can buy and sell it singly and in packs.
v0.38.0 · 29 September 2026
- Packs. Sell an item in packs as well as one by one: a Bundle of 24 arrows, a Crate of 6 mead. A pack can have its own price, or it costs the same as that many singles.
- Packs only. Mark an item as sold only in packs, and the counter offers just its packs. You can still buy single ones in.
- Stock stays simple. Stock is always counted one by one. Selling 2 bundles of 24 takes 48 out, and the stock pages show how many packs you could make up, like “48 · 2 × Bundle of 24”.
- Packs in files. Spreadsheet imports and exports, and moving a shop to another server, keep each item’s packs and their prices.
v0.37.0 · 28 September 2026
- Services. A shop can sell work, not just goods: repairs, sharpening, enchanting. A service has no stock and no condition. At the counter each line can carry a short note, like “Steel Sword, Worn to Fine”.
- Services that use materials. A repair that takes an ingot can take it out of stock by itself when the sale is handed over.
- Tags. Put your own words on items, like “steel” or “one-handed”. Item lists can tag their items for every shop, and a shop can add its own. Filter the catalogue and stock by tag, and find items by tag in every search, the counter included.
- Materials in spreadsheets. Spreadsheet imports and exports, and moving a shop to another server, now keep each item’s materials.
v0.36.0 · 28 September 2026
- Materials. An item you make can list what it takes: two steel ingots and a leather strip for a sword, say, and how many one batch makes. Server staff and Holds can set them on their item lists, and a shop can keep its own.
- Cost to make. A shop sees what each made item costs it from its own prices, even when a material is itself made from other things, and its profit on each one. A material with no price is named, so you know what to fill in.
- Make. One step in Stock takes the materials out and puts the finished items in.
- Pricing help. When you set a price, you see what the Hold buys the item at and what it costs you to make, right by the price boxes.
- Buy prices on price lists. A shop’s public price list shows what it buys at as well as what it sells at. A shop can turn that off. What the Hold pays is never shown.
- What’s new. This list, here on the About page.
v0.35.0 · 28 September 2026
- A shop can give an item one price in any condition, or type an exact price for each condition.
- The public price list shows prices by condition.
- Spreadsheet imports and exports, and moving a shop to another server, keep condition and those prices.
v0.34.0 · 28 September 2026
- Condition. Weapons, armour and clothing now have a condition, from Pristine to Broken. Stock, the counter and receipts record it, and prices follow it. Each server sets its own scale, and a shop can set its own price for each step.
- A “Change condition” step in Stock for items repaired, worn or damaged.
v0.33.0 · 28 September 2026
- Notice boards look like boards: notices pinned in a grid, opened over the board.
- At the counter, new items go to the top of the cart, removing one can be undone, and the search is always one tap away.
v0.32.0 · 27 September 2026
- Item prices can use fractions of a Septim (0.25 an arrow). The whole sale is rounded once at the end.
v0.31.0 · 27 September 2026
- Site staff keep the list of item categories: add, rename, reorder and retire them.
v0.30.0 · 27 September 2026
- Each organisation’s Home is its front page: what needs you first, then short summaries of its boards, announcements, letters and trade.
- Factions keep stock too, in an Armoury run by a Quartermaster, with no prices.
- Announcements say who they ask to sign, and tell them.
- Detail pages show small facts to the side instead of in big boxes.
v0.29.0 · 26 September 2026
- People I know: your character’s own book of the people they have met, with notes and tags.
- Retiring a character, or marking them dead, with what happens to what they owned.
- The Holds are listed in the menu to visit. A guide page for guards.
- Many screens now share the same search boxes, tick boxes, folding sections and copy buttons.
v0.28.0 · 26 September 2026
- Standalone shops: a shop can run on its own, without a server or a Hold, and move onto a server later.
- Download a shop’s whole records and bring them in again.
v0.27.0 · 26 September 2026
- A clearer menu: your organisation, your own things and the site, each in its own part.
- Settings split into tabs by who they belong to.
- Organisations can change their web address; old links keep working for a while.
v0.26.0 · 26 September 2026
- One site, many servers. Each game server is its own world with its own Holds, shops and item lists.
- Add a missing item right from the counter.
- Credit is optional, and credit limits warn instead of blocking.
- The books never stop you: selling what the stock says you don’t have is allowed, with a warning to count it.
- Hand a paper to someone in person with their calling card or a one-time code.
- Letters are real papers that take time to arrive. Announcements in character are notices people sign.
v0.25.0 · 26 September 2026
- Organisations get their own page, sigil and colours.
- Notice boards with pinned notices, and guards who can take down what is posted in public.
- Visit places in character, a public price list for each shop, and a converter between real time and the Tamrielic calendar.
v0.24.0 · 25 September 2026
- Factions: guilds, companies and other groups that aren’t Holds or shops.
v0.23.0 · 25 September 2026
- New accounts start without a character, and you make one when you are ready.
- Shorter codes for calling cards and documents.
v0.22.0 · 25 September 2026
- Documents: write papers, seal them, file them and send them as letters with enclosures.
v0.21.0 · 25 September 2026
- Server staff choose what each kind of organisation can do, and the ranks new ones start with.
v0.20.0 · 25 September 2026

v0.18.0 · 25 September 2026
- Holds and server staff can add a shop’s own items to their lists in one go.
v0.17.0 · 25 September 2026
- Safer accounts: see where you are signed in, sign out other devices, and a log of sign-ins.
v0.16.0 · 25 September 2026
- Customers in full: notes, warnings, bans, credit, and calling cards to tell who is who.
v0.15.0 · 25 September 2026
- The counter. Sell and buy, with receipts, a list of past trades and the shop’s coffer.
- A list of people the shop knows.
v0.14.0 · 24 September 2026
- Stock. Containers, what is in each, adding and removing stock, moving it, and counting it.
v0.13.0 · 24 September 2026
- Set up a shop in minutes by importing a spreadsheet (Excel, CSV or Google Sheets).
v0.12.0 · 24 September 2026

v0.11.0 · 24 September 2026
- A help guide, and little question marks that explain words where you meet them.
v0.10.0 · 24 September 2026
- Back always goes back, lists remember your search, and out-of-character screens are marked.
v0.9.0 · 24 September 2026
- Skaafin becomes the in-character companion app: trade first, with letters, reports and more to come.
v0.8.0 · 24 September 2026
- Several characters on one account.
v0.7.0 · 24 September 2026
- Never lose work in progress: forms keep drafts, and warn you before you leave them.
