Getting started for server staffOOC

Server staff sit at the top of their server’s organisation tree. The server is a world of its own: everything you set here stays inside it (see servers).

What the server tier does

• Base item list: the items every Hold and store starts from. Holds can add to it but never change your details. See the three item lists.
• Holds and stores: create Holds, appoint their heads, and see the whole tree.
• Settings: the server’s own settings, in tabs: the calendar that turns real dates into the lore date, rules for papers (notices and letters), credit, how many characters each account may have, and when Discord digests go out.
• Guide pages: write your own pages for this guide (server rules, customs). They appear under “This server” in the guide.

Out of character

Server staff may see things players can’t, such as who plays whom. Treat them as out of character and keep them out of roleplay. See OOC.
