Registering own items from aboveOOC
Put an item a store keeps for itself on your list, and link the store's entry to it.
Stores keep custom items for things that aren’t on any list yet. They can propose one to their Hold, but you don’t have to wait: Hold staff who edit the item list see every custom item in their stores under Item list → Stores’ own items. Server staff see the same for every store, plus the Holds’ own items, under Own items below.
- Open the item. Items with the same name in several stores are shown together.
- Check the name, category, weight and description. They start as the store wrote them; fix them if you like.
- Untick any store whose item with that name is something else.
- Press Register.
The item goes on your list (or, if one with that name is already there, the entries are linked to it). Each store’s entry is linked: it keeps its own sell and buy prices and its history, and from now on its name and category come from your list. The stores are told, and any proposal for the item is closed as accepted.
When the server registers a Hold’s own item, it moves to the base list as it does when a proposal is accepted: the Hold’s stores stay linked and the Hold’s export terms carry over.
