StocktakeOOC

Count what is really in a container, then let the app correct the books.

A stocktake is a count of one container. You write down what is really there and the app corrects the books to match, with one record of the differences.

Steps

  1. Open Stock › Containers, pick the container and choose Count it.
  2. Type what you find next to each item. Add items that turned up there with Add an item.
  3. Leave a row blank if you didn’t count it: it stays as it is. Type 0 if it is gone.
  4. Check the differences and choose Apply count.

Your count is saved as you go, so you can leave and come back, or finish it on another device. Only one count per container runs at a time.

If stock moves while you count

Differences are worked out when you apply, so sales and moves made during the count are taken into account. We warn you if anything moved in that container since you started, in case you counted before or after it.

A wrong count can be voided from the history like any other record.
