BountyOOC
A reward a Hold or a ruler posts for bringing someone in. Guards whose watch reaches see it; wanted posters make it public.
A bounty is a reward for bringing someone in, posted by a Hold’s court or a ruler. The rank needs Post and claim bounties.
- Posting. Open the wanted person’s entry in a register of known persons and choose Post a bounty. Give the crime (a law from the book, or words), the reward in Septims and the terms (“Alive”).
- Where it holds. In the issuer’s Holds. Guards whose watch reaches them see it on their Bounties page.
- Wanted posters. One poster per board, on the issuer’s public boards and the boards in its Holds that allow posting. Each is a notice like any other: anyone may read it, and it can be taken down.
- Claimed. When someone brings them in, mark it claimed: by the code on a calling card they handed over, or a name, and the reward paid. The reward comes from the treasury only if ticked; otherwise it is only recorded. Posters can come down at the same time.
- Withdrawn. A bounty no longer wanted is withdrawn; it stays on record.
