ServicesOOC
Work you sell rather than goods, such as repairs, sharpening or enchanting. A service has no stock and no condition.
A service is work you sell, not goods: repairs, sharpening, enchanting, labour on a commission, or anything else your shop does for a customer.
How it differs from an item
- It has no stock and no container, so it never shows on the stock pages.
- It has no condition, even in a category like Weapons.
- At the counter it is sold like anything else. Each line can take a short note, such as “Steel Sword, Worn to Fine”, which shows on the trade and its receipt.
- A service with no list price is priced on the line, as with any item.
Using materials
A service can have materials, like a made item: a repair might take a Steel Ingot. Tick Take the materials out of stock when sold in its Materials section, and the counter asks which container they come from. They leave stock when the goods are handed over, in the same record, and come back if the trade is voided with its goods.
Who marks it
Tick A service when you add your own item, or on its page. Items on a list are marked by whoever owns the list, and every store carrying them follows.
