CitizenshipOOC

The Hold a character chose to belong to. It shows on their page and their calling cards.

A character is a citizen of the Hold they choose. There is nothing to ask for: choose a Hold on your character’s page and you are its citizen at once.

  • One Hold at a time. Moving to another Hold ends the old citizenship. You can also give it up and belong nowhere. Your past citizenships stay listed on your page.
  • Where it shows. “Citizen of …” is on your character’s page and on your calling cards. You can hide it on a card you carry under another name.
  • The roll. A Hold’s court keeps the roll of its citizens. Nobody else sees who is on it.
  • Announcements. A Hold can write to its citizens, not only to its court and the orgs below it.
  • Exile. A Hold may exile a citizen. They stop being its citizen and can’t choose it again until the exile is lifted or runs out.

Each citizen on the roll opens the Hold’s register entry for them, where the court can exile them.
