TitlesOOC
An office held on top of a rank, such as Quartermaster or Treasurer. It adds its own permissions.
A title is an office an organisation defines, such as Quartermaster, Treasurer or Herald. A member keeps their rank and can hold any number of titles on top of it. Each title adds its own permissions.
- Seats: a title can be limited to a number of holders. One seat makes it a single office; leave it empty for any number.
- Public titles are known in character: they show on the organisation’s page and on the holder’s calling cards (each card can hide them). Private titles show only on the members page.
- Any rank can hold any title. A title never changes the holder’s rank, so it never lets anyone promote people above them.
- Given by: each title says who may give it out and change it: the ranks above one rank (“Given by: ranks above Guard”), or any rank. They also need “Create, give and take away titles” and the permissions the title adds, and give it only to members below them.
- Leaving the organisation drops its titles.
Give or take a title on the Members page (open the person). Create and edit titles on the Ranks page.
