SealOOC
An organisation's seal pressed on a paper, or any other seal. The organisation's seal register lists what was sealed by those who keep it.
A seal is pressed at the foot of a paper. Like a signature it fixes the text.
- An organisation’s seal can be used by ranks with Put this organisation’s seal on documents (the head has it).
- Another seal can be anything your character has: a personal signet, or a seal made to look like someone else’s. It looks the same on paper.
The seal register
Each organisation’s seal register (on its Documents page) lists every paper sealed with its seal by someone who keeps it: the title, the number and the date. If someone brings you a paper in character, check its number against the register.
For staff
Staff with See who really made signatures and seals can look any paper up by its number and see who made each mark. These are facts for moderation, not a verdict: forgery is for the story to decide.
